The Psychology of Religion - Alan Watts
July 3, 2020
Alan Wilson Watts (6 January 1915 – 16 November 1973) was a British writer and speaker known for interpreting and popularising Buddhism, Taoism, and Hinduism for a Western audience. Born in Chislehurst, England, he moved to the United States in 1938 and began Zen training in New York. He received a master's degree in theology from Seabury-Western Theological Seminary and became an Episcopal priest in 1945. He left the ministry in 1950 and moved to California, where he joined the faculty of the American Academy of Asian Studies.
Watts gained a following while working as a volunteer programmer at the KPFA radio station in Berkeley. He wrote more than 25 books and articles on religion and philosophy, introducing the emerging hippie counterculture to The Way of Zen (1957), one of the first bestselling books on Buddhism. In Psychotherapy East and West (1961), he argued that Buddhism could be thought of as a form of psychotherapy. He considered Nature, Man and Woman (1958) to be, "from a literary point of view—the best book I have ever written." He also explored human consciousness and psychedelics in works such as "The New Alchemy" (1958) and The Joyous Cosmology (1962).

(JP) – Jerusalem and Washington are expected to coordinate their decision on where and when Israel will extend its laws in the West Bank next week, a source with knowledge of the talks between the sides told The Jerusalem Post on Wednesday.
July 1, the first day on which the coalition agreement allowed Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to bring sovereignty to a vote, passed without any progress on that front, as was expected. “Netanyahu continues in talks with the Americans and had a discussion today with the National Security Council head and security chiefs in the framework of a number of discussions on the matter.
More discussions will take place in the coming days,” a statement from the Prime Minister’s Office read. US Special Envoy for International Negotiations Avi Berkowitz and Scott Leith of the UN National Security Council headed back to Washington after meetings with Netanyahu, Alternate Prime Minister Benny Gantz, and Foreign Minister Gabi Ashkenazi.
Berkowitz is expected to bring his findings from the trip to Jared Kushner, senior adviser to US President Donald Trump, who will then weigh in and present the situation to the president.

(CP) – The Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, which was recently criticized for addressing God as “Mother” instead of Father, is distributing a handbook on sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression to its member churches.
Titled Lutheran Introduction To Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, & Gender Expression, the handbook, published by the Lutheran ministry ReconcilingWorks that is listed at the top of the ELCA website, details bisexuality, pansexuality and transgederism, and encourages the use of alternative pronouns.
The handbook defines gender identity as “a person’s innate, deeply felt psychological identification as a man, woman or another gender, which may or may not correspond to the sex assigned to them at birth. Gender identity is different from the term ‘gender,’ which is typically used with reference to social and cultural differences rather than biological ones.”
Gender expression, it says, is “the external characteristics and behaviors that are socially defined as either masculine or feminine, such as dress, grooming, mannerisms, speech patterns and social interactions. These norms vary culturally.”
Sexual orientation, it adds, is “the term used to describe what gender(s) someone is physically and/or emotionally attracted to. Lesbian, gay, bisexual, pansexual, queer, and straight are all examples of sexual orientations. A person’s sexual orientation is distinct from a person’s gender identity and expression.”
Jesus Defeats the Image of the Beast
July 2, 2020
Look at the world today. The world groans for the return of Jesus Christ, the living Son of God.
Jesus warned to not worship the beast and its image. The image of the beast is the Kaaba in Mecca. Jesus has defeated the image of the beast. The Kaaba is closed and the Hajj pilgrimage to honor the beast is effectively canceled this year.
Revelation 14:9-10 (NIV)
A third angel followed them and said in a loud voice: “If anyone worships the beast and its image and receives its mark on their forehead or on their hand, they, too, will drink the wine of God’s fury, which has been poured full strength into the cup of his wrath. They will be tormented with burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb.”
Jesus wants to save you. It is no accident the Kaaba is closed. Jesus warned to not worship the beast and his image. This is the one of last warnings from Jesus. Jesus is returning soon. Prepare for the arrival of the Son of Man.
Revelation 19:20 (NIV)
But the beast was captured, and with it the false prophet who had performed the signs on its behalf. With these signs he had deluded those who had received the mark of the beast and worshiped its image. The two of them were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur.
Jesus warned a false text would follow the Book of Revelation. This false text was the Qur’an. It showed up about 515 years after Revelation was written in 95 AD. Just as Jesus said, the Qur’an adds the words that bring the plagues of Revelation. Just as Jesus said, the Qur’an takes away the words of eternal life through Jesus only, the risen Son of God.
Revelation 22:18 (NIV)
I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this scroll: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to that person the plagues described in this scroll.
Revelation 22:19 (NIV)
And if anyone takes words away from this scroll of prophecy, God will take away from that person any share in the tree of life and in the Holy City, which are described in this scroll.
The Book of Revelation concludes (Revelation 22:18-19) with powerful warnings from God. Do not add nor take away from the Book of Revelation! The false prophet, image and mark actions of Islam, and the taking away of the atoning sacrifice of Jesus are the sources of these Revelation warnings. The warnings make sense, since the entire Revelation prophecy is about the release of Baal, Islam and the false prophet Mohammad. Listen to Jesus and avoid the false prophet’s teachings.
A solemn warning on the book of Revelation! Do not add anything to the text, nor take anything away from the text. Do not believe the Qur’an is the final revelation from God.
REVELATION WARNED THE QUR’AN WOULD ADD TEXT AND TAKE AWAY THE TRUTH
The added text warnings in Revelation 22:18 are about the Qur’an! Here is how the Qur’an adds the very actions that bring on the specific Revelation plagues from God! The Qur’an adds the teaching of the false prophet Mohammad, it adds his mark, a statement of faith to a false god, and the Qur’an adds prayer and worship to the image he sets up to honor the beast. Qur’an 7:57 says Mohammad’s name is in the Bible. Qur’an 21:25 gives the Islamic statement of faith, the mark, the Shahada. Qur’an 2:127 and 2:144 require prayer to the image of the beast, the Kaaba.
The taking away of words warnings in Revelation 22:19 are also about the Qur’an! Here is how the Qur’an takes words away and eliminate the salvation from God, and your share in the tree of life in the New Jerusalem. Qur’an 4:171 takes away the Deity of Jesus, and says Jesus is not God. Qur’an 4:157 takes away the sacrifice of Christ, and says Jesus was not crucified. Qur’an 17:111 says Jesus was not the Son of God. Qur’an 5:75 says Jesus was not God but just a messenger of Allah. The Qur’an adds, and it also takes away! The closing chapter of the Book of Revelation makes clear there is no more Scripture after Revelation. The Bible is final!

(OPINION) ETH – A man named Brent recently shared his extraordinary NDE or Near Death Experience where he claimed to have died after accidentally overdosing on medicine as a child.
According to the report from Express, The event occurred when Brent was only nine years of age but remembers the event in stunning detail and cane even recall everything that happened in detail. Brent shared his memories of God, Jesus, and the afterlife with the Near-Death Experience Research Foundation (NDERF). In his account, Brent stated that “I was dying and my body was shutting down. “All of a sudden, I was in this large, open space.
It was endless space. “I was standing there it seemed as if I knew everything. “All my senses where extremely heightened. Next, I saw a man walking toward me.” Brent goes on to claim that the man walking towards him was his grandfather, who died two years earlier.
When Brent’s grandfather got close to him he told him it was not yet his time before he hugged him and disappeared, He then states that a bright light appeared and it was then that Brent claims he was touching the “tangible presence of God”. The light was “all-powerful” and the figure of Jesus Christ began to approach him. Brent said: “The moment I opened my eyes, I saw feet and holes in these feet.
“As he reached out his hand, I saw nail prints not in his palm or forearms but in his wrists. “I grabbed his hand and I was able to stand up. “I felt this unexplainably intense love, with joy, peace, and just overwhelming. It seemed as if time didn’t matter. “As he pulled me up, I saw that he wore an all-white robe, but whiter than one would see on this Earth.”
According to Brent’s account, Jesus had piercing blue eyes and hair as white as wool. He went to say: “He spoke to me and said, ‘My son, my son, it’s not time for you to come home yet. I have much work for you to do on Earth.’ “He said it again as he put his hand on my shoulder. I felt like I was being sucked back into my body.”
It was immediately after this that Brent remembers opening his eyes and coming too in the hospital where he was surrounded by doctors and nurses. To this day, Brent claims: “I know now that it was the same cloud that Moses walked into on Mount Sinai as he entered the presence of God. “I later found a description in scripture that talked about his appearance is the same as I had seen in my experience. “I also discovered that science has proven that the crucifixion of Jesus happened with the nail through the wrists instead of in the hands.”
St Albans Cathedral will replace traditional Nativity scene featuring Virgin Mary with a painting of the Last Supper featuring a black Jesus in solidarity with Black Lives Matter
July 1, 2020
(ETH) – The traditional setting of the “Last Supper” will be replaced with a painting of the Last Supper featuring a black Jesus in a Nativity scene at St Alban’s Cathedral to show solidarity with Black Lives Matter according to a report from the Daily Mail.
According to the report, The Dean has agreed to install the 9ft piece on the altar after conceding that the church is in a weak position to preach about racial justice. The painting titled “A Last Supper”, reworks Da Vinci’s renowned 15th-century mural by casting a Jamaican-born model as Christ.
The announcement came less than a week after the Archbishop of Canterbury urged the Church of England to reconsider its portrayal of Christ as white. Justin Welby said Christians should also accommodate global depictions of Jesus which show him as black, Chinese, and Middle Eastern.
Embracing this philosophy, St Albans Cathedral in Hertfordshire is covering up its existing altarpiece painting with the high-resolution print which challenges ‘the Western myth’ that Jesus looked European. It will cover up an untitled three-part painting of a scene from the Nativity, which shows the Virgin Mary and Child flanked by the shepherds and kings, until October.
George W. Bush Invited “The Angel In The Whirlwind” To Rule Over America. Now, Right On Cue, The Ancient Enemy Of Daniel, Gabriel, And Jehovah Is Rising
June 30, 2020
Some of the biggest men in the United States, in the field of commerce and manufacture, are afraid of something. They know that there is a power somewhere so organized, so subtle, so watchful, so interlocked, so complete, so pervasive, that they had better not speak above their breath when they speak in condemnation of it. —Woodrow Wilson
The real rulers in Washington are invisible and exercise power from behind the scenes. —U.S. Supreme Court Justice Felix Frankfurter
This week as the Wall Street Journal exuded the opening of the new Fire Temple in Houston (Zoroastrianism Rises in North America), celebrating how the highest rituals of the ancient enemy of Israel (and of the prophet Daniel, the angel Gabriel, and Jehovah) is spreading across the U.S. and Canada, I thought I should enlighten those who may not understand how and why we are seeing the rise of cults that until recently were unknown to most westerners.
On January 20, 2001, President George W. Bush, during his first inaugural address, faced the Obelisk known as the Washington Monument and twice referred to an angel that “rides in the whirlwind and directs this storm.” His reference was credited to Virginia statesman John Page, who wrote to Thomas Jefferson after the Declaration of Independence was signed, “We know the race is not to the swift nor the battle to the strong. Do you not think an angel rides in the whirlwind and directs this storm?”
Five weeks after the inaugural, on Wednesday, February 28, 2001, Congressman Major R. Owens of New York stood before the House of Representatives and prayed to the “angel in the whirlwind.” He asked the spiritual force to guide the future and fate of the United States.[i] Twenty-eight weeks later (for a total of thirty-three weeks from the day of the inaugural—a number invaluable to mysticism and occult fraternities), nineteen Islamic terrorists attacked the United States (according to the official story), hijacking four commercial airliners and crashing two of them into the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center in New York City. They slammed a third into the Pentagon, and a fourth, which had been directed toward Washington DC, crashed near Shanksville, Pennsylvania. What happened that day resulted in nearly three thousand immediate deaths, at least two dozen missing persons, and the stage being set for changes to the existing world order.

The outrage over statues and the 'white' depictions of Christ is meant to detract us from the real endgame: the 'canceling' of Christianity itself.
Towards the end of his reign, Tuthmosis III of Egypt ordered the destruction of all the public monuments to his aunt, Hatshepsut, the former leader of Egypt. It wasn’t the first instance of iconoclasm that the world had seen, but it has become one of the most memorable.
Iconoclasm — the deliberate destruction of images — has existed almost as long as man has walked the earth. When it took place, there were usually deep and profound reasons for these planned destructions. Rulers sought to erase the memory of their rivals.
Leaders like Leo III of the Byzantine Empire believed chopping statues was a good way to get God on their side at the next battlefield. Sometimes, images were destroyed simply because it was believed icons needed to be smashed since they represented an evil to be defeated. Such was the motivation for Protestant sects who destroyed Catholic statues in the Netherlands and Muslim populations who destroyed Christian icons in the Middle East and Africa.
Recently, Shaun King, a champion of the Black Lives Matter movement, called for the destruction of Christian iconography, statues, and stained glass, if they represent Christ, His mother, or any of the apostles as white. This, according to King, makes the iconography nothing more than a “gross form of white supremacy” and “racist propaganda” created to be “tools of oppression.”
To King, the only proper response to any fossil of racism or oppression is to destroy it. As any depictions of Christ or the Virgin Mary with light skin represent “white supremacy,” according to King they’ve all got to go.
True Christianity Was Never About Race
The idea that Christianity is or has been infected with white supremacy is not new. Susan Abrahams, the dean of faculty at Pacific School of Religion, blamed “White Christians” for Charlottesville. Jeannine Hill Fletcher wrote a book in 2018 that purportedly showed racism was a natural outgrowth of Christianity, springing from “Christian superiority.”
This premise is wrong, first because of the existence of black saints. There is a rich tradition of African Christianity. Many of the earliest fathers of the church hailed from Africa, including Cyprian and St. Augustine of Hippo.
Furthermore, multiple men and women are recognized by the Catholic Church as saints who were black, including St. Moses the Black, St. Benedict the Moor, and St. Martin de Porres. It is a strange racist and oppressive system that recognizes the sanctity of people from across the world, regardless of their color, and bequeaths upon them the title of “saint,” a moniker that designates all who possess it as attaining ultimate equality before the throne of God.
There have been individual Christians who were racist, just as there have been individual Christians who were murderers, thieves, adulterers, and liars. But Christianity is not a racist or oppressive system. Christianity no more condones those sins than it condones slavery. Indeed, some of the first condemnations of slavery came from Christians.

(Natural News) Anyone remotely familiar with the Chinese Communist Party knows that its leaders and members shun theocracy and religion because the only ‘higher power’ they want ordinary citizens to believe in, adhere to, and follow is CCP doctrine.
But they do more than simply ‘shun’ it: The CCP has a vile history of punishing citizens who believe in other deities and express faith in other entities. No one knows this better than members of the Falun Gong, a spiritual faith that is abhorrent to Communist leaders who cling to a policy of state atheism.
However, they aren’t the only group religiously persecuted by Chinese authorities, as the National Review reported in April 2019:
Indeed, it’s closer to the Spanish Inquisition — a convert-to-the-Communist-Party-or-die scheme that has spanned two decades and picked up four victim groups on the way: the Uyghurs in 1997, Falun Gong in 2001, Tibetans and House Christians in 2003.
And while thus far the number of ‘believers’ killed in pursuit and observance of their faith in recent years by Chinese authorities is nowhere close to the number of deaths in Nazi concentration camps, casualty rates could be about to skyrocket.
Bitter Winter, an online magazine that covers religion and human rights in China has reported that the CCP is now threatening “to take away the last means of survival from elderly believers,” which are the government benefits of “housing, food, clothing, medical care, and funeral expenses.”
So in other words, the CCP is telling elderly Christians (in this case) they must renounce Jesus and his teachings or starve to death, die of the elements, or perish from a preexisting condition.
(OPINION) Charisma – Back in the 1940s, people believed Adolf Hitler was the Antichrist because he murdered more than 6 million Jews. A couple of decades later, Americans spread the rumor that Communist leader Leonid Brezhnev was the true Antichrist. Then in 1976, the popular movie The Omen fueled the idea that the Antichrist might emerge from the United States.
Today the Antichrist mantle has been awarded to a wide range of politicians, entrepreneurs, and celebrities. Conspiracy theorists have labeled Bill Gates, George Soros, and even Dr. Anthony Fauci the Antichrist since the COVID-19 pandemic began. And almost every American president since Franklin D. Roosevelt has been accused of being the devilish “beast” described in the book of Revelation—including Barack Obama and Donald Trump.
I’ve never believed the Antichrist is just one man. That’s partly because I know from history that Christians have suffered under evil dictators since the first century. In fact, early Christians believed the Roman emperor Nero was the Antichrist.
It’s no surprise that Nero still wins in the “beast” category. He had his own mother killed; he beheaded his first wife and murdered his stepbrother. He kicked his second wife to death while she was pregnant, and then he married a boy. And in his infamous efforts to wipe out all Christianity, he covered Christians in wax and lit them on fire to provide torches during his parties.
But one verse in the Bible gives us a clue that the Antichrist shouldn’t be viewed as one individual. The apostle John wrote: “Children, it is the last hour; and just as you heard that antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have appeared; from this we know that it is the last hour” (1 John 2:18, NASB).

Episode 319 of the A Minute To Midnite Show. What does the Bible really say about “throwing their gold and silver” into the streets?
I believe God created gold and silver to be money. Man created fiat currencies. I do not believe that God’s plan for mankind is ultimately to have a corrupt monetary system controlled by a few central banks, who are in turn really just the front for a few Elite Oligarchs, who ultimately pull the strings behind the scenes. A debt based financial system is not scriptural, and in fact goes against scriptural principles. Therefore, why would God approve of it? Yet I hear so often Christians mis-representing two scriptures as their basis to scoff and mock at those who suggest transferring their fiat currencies into precious metals. They take those two verses out of context. Before I deal with those two verses (Ezekiel 7:19 and Zephaniah 1:18)………

Chairman of the Cable and Satellite Broadcasting Council, Asher Biton, announced on Thursday to the "Hot" TV network its decision to suspend the "GodTV - Shelanu” channel from being broadcast in Israel.
Explaining the decision, Biton said that the channel appeals to Jews with Christian content, in contrast to the original request for approval which stated that the channel is intended for the Christian population.
Before deciding to remove the channel, the chairman of the council held a hearing, to which Hot and the channel itself responded. After examining the responses, Biton replied that the responses didn’t contradict what was written in the hearing - that the channel’s broadcasts do not correspond to the approval granted in April. Therefore, he said, there is no avoiding the suspension of the channel and its removal from scheduled broadcasts.
Hot was ordered to take the channel off the air within 7 days. It has the right to submit a new request which is "clear and transparent" for the approval of the channel, including a truthful and detailed characterization of the channel, and that request will be brought before the council for an in-depth discussion on such matters as freedom of expression versus harm to religious feelings, points which the council did not have to address so far.

(VOX) – When she was 11, at a Christian summer camp, on an island, in the middle of a lake in upstate New York, Junia Joplin — June to her friends — realized two things: She wanted to be a minister, and she wanted to be a girl. She realized she wanted to be a minister because, well, it was a church camp.
But she knew she wanted to be a girl because girls were separated on the other side of the island. And June knew, on some subconscious level, she was on the wrong side of that island. “There wasn’t a day when I was 11 that God said, ‘Oh, hey, June, by the way, there’s something I want you to do,’” she says.
“It’s less like a Post-It note that shows up on your door one day and more like this transmission that you keep turning the dials on for the rest of your life. That’s also the way I think about gender. So many of us can say that they had inklings [about their gender] at 4 or 5, 6 years old. … Some of us it’s not as clear. It’s a lot fainter. But it’s always there.”
“I want to be a minister” and “I want to be a girl” weren’t revelations that could be pursued simultaneously, at least not in 1990 in rural North Carolina, where June grew up. She had to pick one door or the other. “I came home from camp realizing that some profound things had happened to me over the course of that week. There was part of it that I could tell people and act on and receive accolades, even. And there was a part that I couldn’t ever tell people or act on,” she says.

Commenting on how vicious the liberal media and progressives are in attacking President Trump and particularly his Christian supporters, Army Lt. Col. Robert Maginnis (ret.) said that "progressives hate us" and, if given the opportunity, will to Christians "exactly what the Nazis did to the Jews on Kristallnacht."
Maginnis, a West Point graduate who served as an Airborne-Ranger infantry officer, is the author of five books, thousands of articles, and he comments frequently on television and radio.
